Position Title:

Dialysis/Renal Field Service Engineer (West Coast)

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a designated territory to guarantee the optimal functioning of our technologies.

- Provide on-site support for troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and routine maintenance with a sense of urgency.

- Prioritize tasks and foster a culture of execution, becoming a reliable partner for our clients and commercial teams.

- Collaborate closely with the clinical specialist team to stay informed about clinical knowledge and customer requirements.

- Maintain thorough documentation practices and ensure all service events are accurately recorded in our service systems.

- Ensure tools are calibrated and manage the inventory of trunk spare parts.

- Visit clients to address their needs and nurture strong relationships with assigned customers.

- Set expectations for customers and develop schedules for preventive maintenance.

- Coordinate with team members to ensure service availability during holiday periods.

Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience, or an Associate Degree with at least 6 years of experience, or a Vocational/Trade certificate with a minimum of 8 years of experience.

- Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Skills:

- Ability to interpret specifications and utilize service manuals effectively.

- Extensive knowledge of dialysis equipment, including hemodialysis and continuous renal replacement therapy devices.

- Experience servicing dialysis devices in renal clinics or nephrology settings.

- Proficiency in water treatment and reverse osmosis systems for dialysis.

- Familiarity with Service Max, SAP, or other service management tools.

- Willingness to travel domestically, up to 60% of the time.

- Proficient in Microsoft Tools.

- Relevant experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic and electro-mechanical equipment in a customer-facing field service role.

- A positive, proactive attitude with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Reliable with a focus on quality and patient safety.

- Excellent communication skills, capable of summarizing situations and formulating problem statements.

- Strong critical thinking abilities and resourcefulness.

- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
