We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at International Search Partners. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining equipment, resolving technical issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Plan and coordinate activities related to installing new or modified equipment at customer facilities to ensure full functionality according to specifications.
- Technical Support: Provide hands-on technical assistance to customers and internal personnel for troubleshooting and repairing equipment to expedite the process.
- Performance Reporting: Review and maintain records of performance reports and documentation from customers and field representatives.
- Problem Resolution: Inspect malfunctioning and/or damaged products, determine the source of the problem, recommend corrective actions, and coordinate problem resolution with the Engineering Department.
- Training and Development: Develop and conduct training on safe operation of equipment, as well as demonstrate skills to trainees, including team members and customers.
- Experience: Two-year college or technical school degree, or two to four years of related experience and/or training, is required. Prior heat treatment experience and electrical skills are preferred.
- Skills: Experience with vacuum and/or atmosphere furnaces, database software, internet software, spreadsheet software, and PLC programming is preferred.
- Education: Advanced technical education, or a combination of education and experience, will be considered.
