Position Title:

Dialysis/Renal Field Service Engineer (West Coast)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a designated territory to ensure optimal functionality of our technologies.
  • Provide immediate assistance with machine troubleshooting and on-site repairs.
  • Conduct installations and routine maintenance with a sense of urgency.
  • Foster a culture of execution and reliability, becoming a trusted partner for clients and colleagues.
  • Collaborate closely with the clinical specialist team to stay informed about clinical knowledge and customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all service events are recorded in our systems.
  • Ensure tools are calibrated and manage spare parts inventory effectively.
  • Engage with customers to meet their needs and build strong relationships.
  • Set schedules for preventive maintenance and coordinate service availability during peak periods.
Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, an Associate Degree with a minimum of 6 years, or a Vocational/Trade certificate with a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Valid Driver's License is necessary.

Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to interpret specifications and utilize service manuals effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of dialysis equipment, including hemodialysis and continuous renal replacement therapy devices.
  • Experience servicing dialysis devices in renal or nephrology clinics.
  • Familiarity with water treatment and reverse osmosis systems for dialysis.
  • Proficiency in Service Max, SAP, or similar service tools.
  • Willingness to travel domestically, up to 60% of the time.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Relevant experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic and electro-mechanical equipment in a customer-facing field service role.
  • Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable with a focus on quality and patient safety.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of summarizing situations and articulating problem statements.
  • Critical thinking and resourcefulness.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
