Job Summary:

The Employment Services Coordinator will provide employment-related services to our neighbors, including job readiness training, career counseling, and job placement assistance. This position requires a strong understanding of workforce development principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement employment services programs and activities to meet the needs of our neighbors.
  • Provide job readiness training and career counseling to help neighbors achieve their employment goals.
  • Assist neighbors in finding and securing employment opportunities, including resume development and interview preparation.
  • Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to identify job opportunities and provide employment-related resources to our neighbors.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of employment services programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, human services, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in workforce development, employment services, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of workforce development principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in social sciences, human services, or a related field.
  • Experience working with at-risk populations, including homeless individuals and families.
  • Knowledge of job search strategies and employment-related resources.
