Job Overview

The Presidio Trust is on the lookout for a Marketing Associate to become a vital part of our Marketing and Communications Department. As an innovative federal agency, we are dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history, stunning beauty, and unique experiences of the Presidio for the enjoyment of all.

In this role, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will assist our marketing managers who focus on various sectors including commercial and residential real estate, hospitality, visitor services, and community outreach. Your contributions will be essential in managing projects, gathering and analyzing metrics, nurturing relationships, and executing strategic plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Marketing Managers in the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns, which include planning, project management, content creation, and performance analytics.
  • Engage in project initiation processes, assess the marketing requirements of project teams, formulate project marketing plans, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment and gather insights from key stakeholders.
  • Work alongside internal and external content creators to produce engaging, results-oriented marketing materials across diverse channels.
  • Monitor marketing performance metrics and deliver insights on initiatives to facilitate data-driven decision-making, while also recommending improvements to Marketing Managers.
  • Collaborate with community event partners to compile promotional materials for their events on Presidio platforms and generate post-event analytics reports for partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the creation and implementation of the annual marketing plan for commercial real estate, along with the preparation of monthly performance reports.
  • Act as the primary contact for Presidio businesses to promote and market events, and coordinate quarterly tenant marketing council meetings.
  • Provide project management assistance by tracking marketing initiatives, communicating progress to stakeholders, and proactively addressing challenges.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of progressive experience in integrated marketing strategy and execution.
  • Proficient organizational and multitasking abilities, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and marketing analytics tools is essential.
  • A strong understanding of integrated marketing principles, consumer insights, and comprehensive marketing campaign planning.
  • Knowledge of marketing management techniques to shape strategies and utilize various marketing channels effectively.
