Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks.

• Set up and manage assembly machinery as designated.

• Follow detailed work instructions as specified in Standard Operation Sheets (SOS) and Job Element Sheets (JES) for all assigned tasks.

• Execute die change and setup procedures as necessary.

• Load and unload components into welders, dies, trunions, and assembly fixtures.

• Operate machinery that welds, stamps, presses, crimps, stakes, and rivets components and sub-assemblies.

• Conduct manual assembly, welding, and tapping operations as required.

• Ensure that the quality and quantity of produced parts meet established specifications and production targets.

• Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.

• Perform routine maintenance on assigned machinery.

• Complete all necessary documentation related to the role, including startup checklists, pre-shift inspections, labor records, scrap documentation, downtime logs, quality assurance checks, and product identification tags.
  • • Undertake any other reasonable requests from management.

• Travel may be required occasionally, including overnight stays.

• Be available for overtime work as needed, including before and after regular shifts and on weekends.

• Maintain punctuality and readiness for work at the scheduled time for each workday.
  • • Contribute to a safe, clean, and organized work environment by applying the principles of 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
  • • Fully comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications

Experience:

• Preferred 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Skills:

• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety regulations, work instructions, maintenance guidelines, and company policies.
  • • Proficient in basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

• Ability to apply common sense and sound judgment to execute detailed written or verbal instructions.

• Capable of addressing issues involving a few concrete variables in standardized scenarios.

• Must be able to effectively interact with colleagues at all levels in a team setting.
  • • Ability to use hands for gripping, handling, and feeling parts.
  • • Must wear required personal protective equipment, including gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed footwear.
  • • Ability to work continuously with hands, arms, and wrists throughout the shift.
  • • Ability to operate vibrating tools such as grinders and drills consistently during the shift.
  • • Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, and write as needed.
  • • Ability to lift, reach, push, pull, carry, bend, twist, and stoop with items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • • Ability to visually inspect parts for quality using close vision and depth perception.

• Willingness to work overtime for shifts up to 12 hours per day, seven days a week.

• Ability to work in varying temperature environments.

• Ability to work in loud settings requiring hearing protection.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
