Responsibilities:
  • Oversee, organize, and optimize daily operations to surpass customer expectations
  • Enhance production capacity and flexibility while reducing unnecessary expenses
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager to uphold existing quality standards
  • Ensure production output, product quality, and timely shipping
  • Effectively allocate resources and maximize asset utilization for optimal results
  • Implement strategies aligned with organizational goals, providing clear direction and focus
  • Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions as needed
  • Foster a trusting relationship with the team, recruiting, managing, and developing plant personnel
  • Analyze data to identify areas of waste and inefficiency
  • Direct production activities and maintain appropriate staffing levels to achieve company objectives
  • Manage production schedules and lead production meetings, including supervisory discussions
  • Communicate policy changes from upper management to supervisors, ensuring understanding of company philosophies, safety protocols, product handling, equipment capabilities, and customer requirements
  • Enforce company policies and collaborate with the Director of Operations and HR on disciplinary matters
  • Maintain an effective energy conservation program and manage labor costs, directing industrial services and approving expenditures within established guidelines
  • Oversee procurement and approval of materials for production, facilities, tooling, and fixtures
  • Ensure best practices are prioritized in all projects, including equipment installation, safety, 5S, quality, lean methodologies, and preventative maintenance
  • Develop systems and processes to track and optimize KPIs, productivity, and performance metrics for effective asset return
  • Safeguard customer inventory through responsible handling and operations
  • Perform related duties as required or directed.
