Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

Job Summary:

Columbus Technologies and Services Inc. is a strategic supplier and business partner to the federal government and its key suppliers. We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise NCBI leadership and staff on human resource management issues
  • Administer HR policies and procedures
  • Collect and analyze HR data and make recommendations to management
  • Process human resource documentation
  • Conduct new hire orientation and provide support during the onboarding period
  • Research and recommend internal HR office-related policies and procedures
  • Provide support within a specialized area of HR, including benefits, compensation, recruiting, performance management, or employee relations
  • Audit records and documents for HR regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate implementation of services, policies, and programs related to HR

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and Personnel Management or related discipline
  • Experience with Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and time management skills
