Job Title: Employee Relations Partner

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Employee Relations Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build Strong Relationships: Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, demonstrating a strong understanding of our business model and identifying critical challenges and opportunities.
  • Stay Informed: Maintain in-depth knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provide Guidance: Offer advice and counsel to managers and employees regarding behaviors, skills, and performance, including individual and team development, business decision-making, problem-solving, and workplace practices.
  • Mediate Conflicts: Possess strong mediation skills to facilitate problem-resolution conversations between employees and leadership.
  • Investigate and Resolve Issues: Own and resolve complex and non-complex employee relations issues, including intake of complaints, investigation planning, data collection, and effective communication with relevant parties.
  • Identify Opportunities: Analyze data and trends to proactively identify strategies (i.e., training, policy changes) to optimize business performance and mitigate future risk in partnership with stakeholders from the HR team.
  • Support Unemployment Functions: Responsible for unemployment functions, such as claim responses and related hearings.
  • Participate in EEOC Claims: Participate in the response to EEOC Claims for assigned client groups.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare monthly metric reports of Employee Relations activities.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive and confidential information and/or activities.
  • Support Leadership: Provide assistance to Human Resources leadership on other tasks and projects as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline. Related HR certifications (such as a PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on Employee Relations.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills, leadership, customer service focus, self-motivation, and ability to perform multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Travel: 10%-20% travel required.
