Job Title: Director, Employee Relations

Vertex Service Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Employee Relations to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture and ensuring that our employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations: Provide expert guidance and consultation to managers on employee relations issues, ensuring that all interactions are legally sound, empathetic, and in alignment with our company culture.
  • Performance Management: Design and implement performance management tools and processes, including goal setting, regular performance reviews, and continuous feedback mechanisms.
  • Engagement Surveys: Lead the administration of employee engagement surveys to gauge organizational climate, employee satisfaction, and areas for improvement.
  • Onboarding and Learning & Development (L&D) Initiatives: Develop and oversee tailored onboarding programs and plans for General Managers, ensuring their smooth integration into the organization and providing them with the tools they need to succeed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in employee relations, human resources, or organizational development.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing performance management, employee engagement strategies, and onboarding and L&D programs.
  • Experience working in a complex environment with multiple brands, geographic locations, varying levels of workforce, and a minimum of 1500 employees.
  • Experience with M&A a plus.
