About the Position

The Client Service Manager I is a key role within our branch operations team, responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective performance of all operations functions, including teller and new account functions. This position requires a strong understanding of banking regulations and standard practices, as well as excellent communication and client service skills.

The ideal candidate will have previous management experience and a minimum of 3 years of experience in banking, with a strong focus on operations and client service. They will be responsible for managing expenses and losses within the annual budget, as well as encouraging non-interest income whenever possible.

The Client Service Manager I will also be responsible for actively cross-selling Bank products and services, and providing training and support to staff in their cross-selling efforts. They will work closely with the Client Relationship Managers to assist with outside calls to selected businesses and current clients, and will perform a variety of daily tasks, including reviewing management reports and processing insufficient funds and overdraft accounts.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, who thrives in a team environment. They will have excellent communication and client service skills, as well as a strong understanding of banking regulations and standard practices.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the efficient and effective performance of all operations functions, including teller and new account functions
  • Ensure that all tasks and responsibilities are handled within bank policies and procedures at all times
  • Manage expenses and losses within the annual budget
  • Encourage non-interest income whenever possible
  • Actively cross-sell Bank products and services
  • Provide training and support to staff in their cross-selling efforts
  • Assist with outside calls to selected businesses and current clients
  • Perform a variety of daily tasks, including reviewing management reports and processing insufficient funds and overdraft accounts
Requirements
  • Previous management experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in banking
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations and standard practices
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software package
