Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading a team of sales representatives within their assigned geography. This role involves building strong relationships with key retailers, independent operators, and other stakeholders to drive sales growth and meet company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with regional and division managers on all activities and communications.
  • Budgeting, planning, and communicating internally for key customers.
  • Selling and executing sales programs for national, regional, and independent customers.
  • Plan and lead the execution of promotional and marketing programs to optimize investments.
  • Identify, solicit, and secure new business opportunities to increase brand ACV across the region.
  • Sell, create, and design displays to increase sales and exposure to Olé brands.
  • Implement shelf schematics and planograms provided by retailers and create efficient planograms for local managed accounts.
  • Ensure weekly customer visits with key retailers to build sustainable relationships and negotiate display opportunities.
Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent DSD experience.
  • Bilingual candidates (Spanish) preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in retail sales and/or account management.
  • Results-oriented individual with a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
  • Ability to work well in team environments and as a self-starter.
