Position Overview: The Educational Program Support Specialist plays a crucial role in the development and management of course materials and volunteer assistance related to the provision of continuing legal education (CLE) offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the formatting and processing of articles submitted for educational materials.
  • Manage speaker and author evaluations, ensuring timely communication of results to relevant parties.
  • Compile and proofread materials for program participants, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Reformat submissions from volunteer contributors to maintain uniformity, including the creation of headers, footers, and tables of contents.
  • Provide guidance to volunteer speakers/authors regarding article formatting and final data entry.
  • Maintain program data within a database, including the input of evaluation feedback.
  • Digitally compile articles for course production and convert presentations into appropriate formats for online access.
  • Assist authors in sourcing relevant articles for research and content updates.
  • Prepare educational materials for both in-person and virtual seminars.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of office experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and experience with database management, preferably Microsoft Access.
  • Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute, with a preference for speeds over 60 words per minute.
  • Exceptional accuracy, proofreading, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong customer service orientation is necessary.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
