We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Account Director to lead our golf program development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing strategic planning, program development, and execution for our client's golf portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic integrated programming across channels, focusing on engagement with consumers, fans, clients, and communities for our client's golf programs.
- Work closely with the Vice President of Client Services to develop strategic plans, activation recommendations, finance trackers, budgets, and competitive documents.
- Manage a fully integrated team dedicated to the development of our clients' golf program.
- Support the management and professional development of the integrated golf team and provide training and career development consultation/guidance.
- Collaborate with other agencies in the integrated planning process, representing Octagon on cross-agency forums, presenting strategic recommendations, and facilitating the engagement of our internal specialists.
- Work closely with our internal specialty leads and groups throughout program development, leading the briefing and integration process with internal teammates.
- 9-12 years of work with an agency, brand, or property on the development of integrated brand campaigns, specifically within global sports (particularly golf programming).
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, able to scale and adapt communications for a variety of audiences.
- A strategic, collaborative approach to solving problems with ideas, build relationships, and influence a range of teams.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Strategic problem solver, able to see possible impacts of a decision on many projects.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, and work weekends or holidays as needed.
