Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Education Director to join our team at Greenwich Education Group LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the educational programs and services for our students with special needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, with experience in supervising and evaluating staff, developing and implementing educational programs, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and evaluate staff, including instructional assistants, speech and language clinicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and special education teachers.
  • Develop and implement educational programs and services for students with special needs.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and laws.
  • Participate in the interview process for hiring staff.
  • Assist in budget planning and development.
  • Provide in-service training and professional development opportunities for staff.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive Special Education Certification (165) and Intermediate Administrator and Supervisor (092) certification.
  • Administrative experience, preferably in a special education setting.
