As a vital member of the Family Birth Center, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns. This position requires a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice in a supportive and family-oriented environment.

Work Schedule:
Full-Time
Nights
7pm-7am

Facility Highlights:
The Family Birth Center is dedicated to creating a comfortable and safe experience for families. With nearly 300 births each month, our center has been a trusted part of the community for over 30 years. Our facility includes:
  • 17 Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) suites
  • 6 Triage Bays
  • 3 Operating Rooms
  • 4-bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, you will:
  • Assess, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for patients.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Provide support and education to families during the labor and delivery process.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Valid Texas RN License or Eligible Compact License.
  • Current BLS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required or to be obtained upon hire.
  • Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring training required or to be obtained upon hire and renewed biennially.
  • Inpatient Obstetrics and/or Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred.
  • BSN required or to be obtained within three years of hire.
  • Experience as a Registered Nurse is essential.
