Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the department, aligning goals with the university's strategic plans.
- Oversee the doctoral and master's programs, ensuring academic excellence and programmatic offerings that meet the needs of the educational community.
- Communicate effectively with external agencies, academic constituents, and internal stakeholders, promoting collaboration and partnership-building.
- Manage the department's budget and resources, ensuring effective allocation and oversight of accountability measures.
- Drive recruitment and retention efforts for faculty, staff, and students, fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership/Administration from an accredited institution.
- Experience in higher education, with a successful track record in academic leadership roles.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Earned doctorate in Educational Leadership/Administration or a similar field from an accredited institution.
- Professional skills in communication, organization, problem-solving, and proven leadership abilities to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- A minimum of five years of experience in higher education with a successful track record in significant academic leadership roles.
