Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Specialist III to provide administrative support to the College of Business and Industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating travel and reimbursements, maintaining departmental files and records, and creating and tracking requisitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Dean's office, including reception and clerical duties
  • Support full-time and adjunct faculty instructional and research needs
  • Coordinate travel and reimbursements for faculty
  • Maintain departmental files, records, and logs
  • Create and track requisitions submitted by faculty and/or student groups
  • Assist department and college leadership with programmatic evaluation, faculty evaluation, and program assessment materials
  • Responsible for inventorying and purchasing office supplies and equipment
Requirements
  • Minimum qualifications include a formal education equivalent of a high school diploma and one year of experience in a clerical field or related area
  • Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent and two years of clerical experience
Working Relationships

The Administrative Specialist III will have regular contact with students, faculty, and staff, as well as occasional contact with the public.

Special Job Dimensions

The work performed primarily in an office/classroom setting, with occasional travel and extended hours required.
