Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim School Administrator to join our administrative team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing the total school program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with student orientation and registration activities.
  • Develop and establish school goals and objectives, and plan the instructional program.
  • Provide direction to staff in implementing goals and objectives, and interact with staff to assist in their development.
  • Evaluate the school program and staff, and initiate needed improvements.
  • Involve staff in setting budget priorities.
  • Act to upgrade own professional knowledge and skills.
  • Prepare and manage budget and schedules, and coordinate and implement the co-curricular program.
  • Define and disseminate information about school discipline, policy, and procedures to parents, students, staff, and community.
  • Communicate and carry out established policies, delegate, and accept responsibility for completion of tasks, and communicate program goals, objectives, and policies to the community.
  • Supervise and maintain auxiliary services, and use community resources to supplement the school program.
  • Promote and maintain open communications, positive student attitudes, respect the dignity and worth of staff, students, and parents, and comply with established lines of authority.
  • Complete records and supervise and inventory necessary supplies, textbooks, equipment, and materials.
  • Serve as a team player and role model for other employees in the organization, demonstrate a commitment to continuous quality improvement, support and exhibit organizational core values of caring, respect, integrity, responsibility, high expectations, being customer-driven, and valuing diversity.
  • Perform other duties and accept responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements

Must be able to communicate orally and in writing with parents, staff, and community leaders. Must have finger dexterity and be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion.
