As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for compiling and processing information for payroll production, maintaining accurate records and workflow related to payroll, and verifying the accuracy of data entered in the payroll system.

Responsibilities:

* Compile and process information for payroll production
* Maintain accurate records and workflow related to payroll
* Verify the accuracy of data entered in the payroll system
* Respond to inquiries to resolve payroll problems and enforce company policy
* Stay current with system updates and changes
* Coordinate all aspects of payroll balancing including researching and resolving discrepancies
* Work with Motor Coach Controller on a day-to-day basis to resolve issues, set up new drivers, and any other system maintenance

Requirements:

* 3-5 years of experience in accounting
* Some college preferred
* Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization abilities
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills
* Proficient with Excel (including pivot tables), Word and Outlook applications
* Excellent customer service skills
* Confidentiality and trustworthiness
* Ability to adjust hours and work overtime as the business needs
