Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Property Manage Ct. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Set up new accounts and maintain accurate financial records
  • Prepare statements for tax returns and file sales and use tax returns
  • Communicate with owners, attorneys, accountants, and government agencies
  • Comply with the State's licensing division for the company
  • Manage demand letters, collections, evictions, foreclosures, and filings with general counsel attorneys
  • Utilize AppFolio property management software, QuickBooks online, and ADP payroll for 2 different companies
  • Manage HR and benefits for employees, budgets vs actuals, forecasting, and insurance audit management
  • Reconcile financial data, verify transactions, and prepare trial balance
  • Analyze budgets and other financial information, process accounts payable and accounts receivable, and complete required tax forms
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
