Position Overview

At the Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area, we are dedicated to enhancing lives through our specialized services. We are currently seeking a Back Office Medical Assistant who is passionate about providing outstanding patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

This role is essential in facilitating the fertility treatment process, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and attention. As part of our dedicated team, you will engage with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting routine patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history.
  • Preparing examination rooms and ensuring all necessary equipment is operational.
  • Assisting with phlebotomy and other clinical procedures as required.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment in compliance with health regulations.
  • Documenting patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to address patient needs and concerns.
  • Ordering and managing medical supplies efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in Ob-Gyn.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and scheduling systems.
  • Phlebotomy skills are preferred.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $23-$32 per hour, commensurate with experience.
