Position: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Overview:
At Soliant Health, we are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to support students in overcoming communication barriers. This role is essential in fostering academic and social success for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation: Conduct assessments of students' speech and language skills through standardized testing and clinical observations.
  • Therapeutic Intervention: Develop and execute tailored therapy programs to address various communication disorders.
  • Collaboration: Partner with educators, parents, and specialists to create an encouraging environment for student achievement.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive documentation of student progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Must hold or be in the process of acquiring a Minnesota SLP license.
  • Certification: ASHA certification is beneficial but not a prerequisite.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an educational setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
