About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef de Cuisine to join our team at Avocet Hospitality Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, including Chef de Parties, Line Cooks, and Stewards.
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and excellence in food quality.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and food storage.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, including front-of-house and management, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a senior kitchen role, with a minimum of 2 years as a Sous Chef.
- Proven track record of leading a team and achieving high standards of food quality and service.
- Excellent culinary skills, including menu development, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
