Market Development Manager

BBSI is a growth-oriented company that helps business owners focus on their core business. We offer a range of services, including outsourced HR, risk consultation, payroll administration, insurance, and recruiting, to small- and medium-sized businesses.

We are seeking a proven Sales Leader to drive top-line revenue growth as a Market Development Manager. The successful candidate will identify, engage, and close new client prospects, building a channel of referral partner relationships that generates qualified leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Build relationships with key clients and represent the best of our product to them
  • Work with the branch team to align prospects and move them into closing and onboarding
  • Understand BBSI's target client base and focus business development efforts accordingly
  • Drive top-line revenue for the branch while supporting efforts to effectively manage bottom line

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of prospecting, closing sales, and bringing on new clients
  • Successful leadership experience, including development of teams and individuals
  • Ability to build relationships and partnerships with business owners, referral partners, executives, and decision-makers in various industries and levels
  • Demonstrated ability to write, develop, and deliver successful presentations to individuals and groups at all levels of an organization
  • Consultative mindset and previous business ownership or ownership mentality

Compensation:

The starting salary range for this position is $100,000-125,000 annually, with factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, certifications, and other qualifications affecting starting pay. This position is also eligible for incentive pay in accordance with the Company's plan.

We also offer 40 hours of paid sick leave annually, vacation accrual up to 80 hours in the first year, up to 120 hours in years 2-4, and up to 160 hours in the fifth year, 6 paid holidays annually, and 4 paid volunteer days annually.
