The Role

The Business Development Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for various stakeholders, including prospects, customers, partners, and vendors, acting as the face of our company.

This role involves a range of responsibilities and duties related to growing our market share, including new customer targeting, outreach, and qualification.

The Business Development Representative will interact with upper management across the board, including the CEO, CMO, and Directors.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with NorthPoint Development LLC Sales and Marketing leaders to run prospecting playbooks geared towards our target accounts.
  2. Schedule meetings with prospective companies and key stakeholders to identify internal stakeholders and key intelligence within the target account.
  3. Run multi-channel sales activation playbooks to continuously improve opportunity generation.
  4. Create and implement A/B multivariate tests in sales activation playbooks to enhance our sales efforts.
  5. Report on campaign KPIs, including meetings kept, opportunities created, and opportunities qualified.
  6. Manage a dataset of target accounts in our CRM and develop nurturing strategies to keep key decision makers informed of updates to our platform.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in outbound prospecting in the SaaS, Transportation, or Logistics industry is preferred.
  • Previous knowledge and experience with the MEDDIC sales methodology or similar sales strategy is preferred.
  • Experience with presenting a business solution to small to middle-market or enterprise companies' leadership team through a consultative sales process is required.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is strongly preferred.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience with a focus on account-based, consultative sales is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and willingness to go the extra mile for team members and clients is required.
