SEIU Local 2015 is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a MAC Organizer I. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, answering inbound calls, and assisting with various union-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to members via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Answer inbound calls and respond to member inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist members with benefits, training programs, and other union-related services.
  • Work closely with union officers, management staff, and other departments to communicate with members and provide assistance.
  • Document calls and interactions using MAC computer systems.
  • Problem-solve and provide resources to members via phone or mail.
  • Answer questions about union contracts, on-the-job rights, and other member issues.
  • Filing grievances and referrals to staff teams.
  • Assist members in registering for training courses and answering questions related to the California Long-term Care Education Center.
  • Encourage member participation in union activities, including civic engagement, membership recruitment, and retention.
Requirements
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional language (Spanish, Mandarin/Cantonese, or Armenian) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computer-based phone systems and online forms.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
