About the Role

The County of Los Angeles is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nutritionist I to join our team. As a Nutritionist I, you will play a critical role in implementing a nutrition program by conducting surveys or studies and providing individual or group counseling or instruction on nutrition and its effect on health to a particular segment of the County's population or designated groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of nutrition standards and guidelines
  • Develop, organize, and conduct training sessions and workshops for staff and other stakeholders
  • Compile and prepare statistical data and reports
  • Conduct facility inspections
Requirements
  • Registration as a Registered Dietitian by the American Dietetic Association
  • A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions
  • PHYSICAL CLASS: 2 - Light
