Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our Comparative Medicine department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our animal care facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine duties related to the operation of the Clean and Soiled Operations areas, including sanitization of animal cages and their accessories.
  • Stage clean supplies, handle disinfectants, and maintain the areas clean and organized.
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as rack washers, tunnel washers, steam autoclaves, bedding dispensers, bedding dump stations, and bottle filling stations.
  • Assemble, distribute, and store supplies and equipment, as well as retrieve dirty caging from husbandry.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or GED.
  • Able to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Must have a valid California driver license.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with disinfection and sanitation chemicals.
  • Inventory organization (storage and distribution).
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
