We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at I-Center California. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to deepen and expand the capacity, impact, and sustainability of California's grassroots movements for racial justice and social transformation.

Job Summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for building systems and procedures from the ground up, ensuring that our organization can scale up its work effectively while supporting a growing staff and diverse programming across the state of California. This multifaceted role requires expertise across all operational functions of a nonprofit organization, including human resources, information technology, finance, and administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational systems and procedures to support the growth and success of our organization.
  • Manage human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Oversee information technology functions, including hardware and software management, systems administration, and technical support.
  • Support finance and administration functions, including budgeting, financial reporting, and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with staff, leadership, and the board to ensure effective communication and stakeholder management.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible operations experience, including experience with complex nonprofit organizations with budgets exceeding $10M.
  • Working knowledge of software programs commonly used among nonprofit organizations to support operational functions.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to operationalize a strategic vision.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner with staff, leadership, and the board.
