Job Overview

Bon Appetit Management Company is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for supporting the successful operation of our kitchens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing cost controls and expenditures.
  • Help plan and create menus that showcase our commitment to quality and innovation.
  • Lead the execution of catering events and implement new culinary programs in collaboration with our marketing and culinary teams.
Requirements
  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, with a focus on high-volume, complex foodservice operations.
  • Catering experience is a plus, as is institutional and batch cooking experience.
  • Strong knowledge of food trends, sanitation, cost controls, and presentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and internet use.
  • Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs and maintain a high level of customer service.
