Maintenance Manager Job Description

RPM Living is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Lead and train a team of maintenance technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with community managers and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience, with a focus on supervisory or management roles.
  • EPA certification and CPO certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance operations, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on customer satisfaction and resident retention.
