The Solairus Aviation Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all aspects of maintenance performed on assigned aircraft, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This role requires a strong background in corporate aircraft maintenance operations, with a focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance Leadership: Lead all maintenance activities of assigned aircraft, implementing maintenance standards, methods, and procedures established by Solairus Aviation.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets outlining financial expenses related to aircraft maintenance, parts, labor, tooling, equipment, and base facilities.
- Personnel Supervision: Supervise and approve expenditures related to assigned aircraft, ensuring the quality and completeness of maintenance performed.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturers' recommendations, and company policies, including Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and component changes, airframe flight time, engine times, AD notes, and FAA maintenance instructions.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with non-company personnel or Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMOs) performing maintenance on company aircraft, conducting vendor evaluations as needed.
- Safety Management: Participate in the Safety Management Systems and assume duties delegated by the Director of Maintenance, Manager of Maintenance Operations, and Client Aviation Manager.
- Education and Certifications: Hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate aircraft maintenance operations.
- Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of the CFRs and aircraft maintenance standards, proficiency in planning, implementation, and direction of maintenance programs and control systems.
- Personal Qualities: Highly motivated individual committed to safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence, with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
