Position Overview:
  • Assist loan officers in processing FHA, VA, and Conventional loan applications, preparing submissions for automated approval and processing.
  • This role may involve managing a small pipeline for the right candidate. Applicants MUST hold a license and be prepared to originate as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with loan officers, builder sales teams, and new home buyers to facilitate the purchase process.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for engaging with diverse customers both internally and externally.
  • Gather, interpret, analyze, and assess information related to underwriting standards and requirements.
  • Comfortable reaching out to clients via phone or email to discuss loans, request documentation, and address basic inquiries.
  • Support the Loan Officer in maintaining customer satisfaction and achieving sales objectives.
  • Effectively interpret AUS findings and understand necessary documentation based on those results.
  • Prequalify potential borrowers as required.
  • Maintain an active NMLS Loan Originator License.
  • This is an ONSITE position. Remote or hybrid work options are not available.
  • Willingness to travel to Builder Communities within the Home Builder Division.
Qualifications
  • Some college education preferred, along with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a purchase-focused mortgage origination role.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred but not mandatory.
