OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY:

We are in search of exceptional individuals with varied backgrounds and experiences, inspired by our mission and motivated to contribute to academic enhancement. The High School Title Interventionist provides essential support to students identified as at-risk in Reading and/or Math. This role primarily involves assisting educators in assessing and implementing evidence-based interventions to help students improve in areas where they face challenges. The High School Title Interventionist plays a crucial role in executing and supporting the MTSS District-Wide Framework. This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Principal.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following outlines the primary duties and responsibilities associated with this position:

  • Strategically analyze challenges and develop effective solutions; a natural problem solver who can quickly assess root causes and identify pathways forward.

A DAY IN THE ROLE:

  • Exhibit expertise in research-based interventions for Reading and/or Math.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings at the staff, district, regional, and school levels as required.
  • Assist educators with differentiation strategies informed by student data.
  • Support the assessment process within the school.
  • Develop and model strategic intervention lesson plans.
  • Implement and uphold the district-wide MTSS Framework.
  • Assist schools in identifying suitable interventions.
  • Provide classroom support to teachers and students.
  • Conduct interventions in classroom settings, whether individually or in groups.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers on inclusive intervention strategies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Ability to teach and model effective, research-driven instructional practices; design lesson plans; develop assessments; and analyze student performance data to inform classroom instruction.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Indiana Teaching License (ELA/MATH).
