Overview
As a vital member of our Events Marketing team, you are passionate about creating outstanding event experiences for our users. Your expertise in planning and executing will drive the success of Esri's trade shows and conferences. Your innate attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and commitment to deadlines ensure that event logistics are managed flawlessly.

You provide exemplary customer service to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating agility in adapting to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Effective Communication and Collaboration: Work cohesively with team members across marketing and external partners to successfully support marketing events. Utilize your communication skills to relay timely information to leadership and colleagues, ensuring effective event management.
  • Manage Multiple Priorities: Assist in the coordination and execution of several events concurrently.
  • Event Planning Expertise: Apply your knowledge of event planning and coordination, including logistics and vendor management, to execute events seamlessly from start to finish.
  • Organization and Attention to Detail: Minimize errors by completing tasks thoroughly and accurately. Ensure that all details align with the event's overall vision and involve leadership when challenges arise.
  • Adaptability and Problem Solving: Adjust to unforeseen circumstances and collaborate with your team to quickly devise solutions. Embrace the dynamic nature of event execution.
  • Proactive Approach: Anticipate the tasks necessary to achieve your team's objectives. Be proactive in addressing stakeholder needs.
  • Creativity: Stay informed about industry trends and share innovative ideas with your team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in events or the hospitality sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality management, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in delivering projects on time and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and collaboration tools such as Workfront.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Familiarity with event management software such as Exhibit Force and Rainfocus.
  • Certifications such as CMP or PMP.
  • Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time.
