Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Director to join our team at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and public relations strategies to build awareness and support for our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership
    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote our brand and programs.
    • Enhance and maintain our brand identity through consistent messaging and visual branding.
    • Ensure effective communication of our mission and values through all marketing channels.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Contribute to operational strategic planning to identify opportunities to promote our programs and services.
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
    • Monitor and adjust plans based on performance metrics and emerging trends.
    • Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve our marketing and public relations activities.
    • Conduct market research to understand community needs and trends.
  • Resource Development
    • Contribute to attaining financial support by increasing membership and building our base of support through marketing and public relations campaigns.
    • Design promotions for special events to focus awareness on our activities and engage community support.
    • Collaborate with the Resource Development team to support fundraising initiatives.
    • Create targeted campaigns to enhance donor engagement.
  • Resource Management
    • Develop and manage the marketing budget to ensure cost-effective use of resources and alignment with strategic priorities.
    • Control marketing and public relations expenditures against budget.
    • Establish and maintain procedures and formats for marketing and public relations materials and activities.
    • Continuously develop knowledge of best practices to market our programs and services within the community.
  • Partnership Development
    • Develop collaborative partnerships with Club staff, volunteers, members, parents, supporters, other Clubs, media contacts, consultants, and vendors to establish professional links within the community.
  • Marketing and Public Relations
    • Participate in the development and coordinate implementation of all marketing and public relations activities to increase the visibility of our programs and services.
    • Manage the creation of promotional materials, advertisements, and content.
    • Maintain good public relations with local media contacts, members, families, alumni, community leaders, and youth-serving professionals.
    • Increase visibility of our programs and services by informing all media contacts and target audiences of scheduled special events.
    • Manage and optimize digital marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, and our website.
    • Utilize analytics to track performance and ROI.
