A Hotel Front Desk Associate's duties encompass registering guests, managing bookings, and providing information regarding accommodations, pricing, and facilities. If you possess a talent for customer service and have experience in the hospitality sector, we would be eager to meet you. Ultimately, your role will contribute to ensuring a pleasant and memorable experience for our guests.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Exceed customer and team member expectations through exceptional service and collaboration.
- Deliver value-added service by taking reasonable actions to meet or surpass customer expectations.
- Provide high-quality service by anticipating guests' needs and responding to their requests promptly and courteously during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
- Register, process, and greet guests promptly, ensuring a warm welcome to the hotel.
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel information.
- Coordinate customer service fulfillment by collaborating with courtesy van staff, housekeeping, reservations, and maintenance.
- Inform guests about payment options and verify their credit card information.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a hotel front desk agent is required.
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with hotel reservation systems such as Lightspeed, FOSSE, or OnQ is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly demeanor and customer service orientation.
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Availability to work weekends is mandatory.
- Flexibility for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts is preferred.
Employees in this role primarily work indoors. To succeed in this position, candidates must be able to operate a computer and standard office equipment, communicate with customers over the phone, and maintain composure when addressing customer concerns. Employees should also be capable of standing and walking for extended periods. Proficiency in the English language, including the ability to speak, hear, read, and write, is required, as is the flexibility to work any hours or days necessary to meet business needs.
