Position Overview:
The OEM Sales Executive plays a crucial role in achieving designated objectives linked to the overall success of the hotel. This individual will be tasked with effectively identifying and securing new business opportunities.

The OEM Sales Executive will collaborate closely with the Director of Sales to meet the hotel's revenue and market share targets across one or more properties.

The sales focus may vary depending on the specific property to which the associate is assigned (e.g., Leisure, Business Travel, Group, SMERF).

Management-level associates are expected to dedicate as much time as necessary each workday to fulfill their job responsibilities; for OEM associates, overtime is applicable and calculated accordingly.


Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required; prior experience in Hotel Sales is preferred.

A valid driver's license for the applicable state is necessary.


Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for negotiating, persuading, selling, and influencing other managerial personnel, hotel guests, and/or corporate clients.

Experience in professional selling techniques is desired: initiating, probing, supporting, and closing.

Proficiency in general computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office products, is required.

The ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously is essential; strong organizational and presentation skills are a must.

Responsibilities:
Successfully achieve assigned sales and revenue targets as well as solicitation call objectives.


Proactively conduct solicitation calls, arrange sales tours, and entertain clients specific to Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and/or Groups as applicable by property.

Enhance existing relationships with assigned accounts specific to Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and/or Groups as applicable by property.

Monitor and assess trends within your market segment.

Approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Adhere to established regulations, company standards, sales standards, and sales metrics.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the hotel's operations and policies as well as those of relevant departments.

Maintain a strong presence in the local community and industry organizations as applicable.

May assist in implementing and/or participating in special promotions related to direct sales segments, such as sales blitzes.

Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings and any other functions required by management.

Perform any additional duties as requested by the General Manager or Director of Sales.
