Role Overview: What does a Risk Advisor do?
  • The title of Risk Advisor is what we embrace in our Charlotte Sales and Technology hub, where we operate as licensed Insurance Agents.
  • Under close guidance, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets by converting leads, prospects, and existing policyholders in a dynamic sales center environment.
  • As a recognized top 20 Insurance Broker, you will have the advantage of collaborating with multiple carriers to offer your clients optimal coverage options at competitive prices.
Compensation Structure: Base Salary Plus Commission

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers through inbound and outbound calls, assessing their insurance requirements and aligning them with suitable products and coverage options to convert leads into satisfied clients. All leads will be provided to you.
  • Evaluate customers' insurance needs through comprehensive assessments, which include gathering information about their financial situation, property conditions, claims history, and any existing coverage gaps.
  • Conclude sales transactions, oversee the collection of initial payments, arrange for necessary documentation, and communicate essential details to the service team regarding the policy sold.
  • Ensure accuracy and promptness in all interactions with current and prospective clients.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance products and underwriting standards of our partner insurance companies to effectively relay information to all parties involved.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Comfortable engaging in phone conversations throughout the day.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; capable of establishing connections with potential clients.
  • Goal-oriented with a persuasive approach.
  • Possesses a vibrant, outgoing, and approachable personality.
  • Driven to contribute to the company's growth through new sales.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Adept at multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively.
  • Resilient in the face of rejection, maintaining a positive outlook when reaching out to the next potential client.
  • Familiarity with the sales process from initiation to closure.
  • Previous experience in outbound call centers, inside sales, or related fields is preferred, though we welcome enthusiastic individuals.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience is advantageous.
  • We will facilitate all licensing requirements, and you will be compensated for your time spent studying and completing a 40-hour online course focused on property and casualty insurance, culminating in a licensing examination.
  • This position offers a base salary along with commission opportunities.
  • Availability for Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with one Saturday per month from 9 AM to 1 PM is required.
