  • Lead the development of a comprehensive downtown master plan, including strategies for revitalization, infrastructure development, and public-private partnerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, community organizations, and government officials.
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial plans, and fundraising strategies to support downtown development initiatives.
  • Oversee the implementation of downtown development projects, including construction, renovation, and revitalization efforts.
  • Ensure that downtown Toledo is a safe, clean, and welcoming place for residents, visitors, and businesses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, urban planning, or a related field.
  • 15 years of experience in downtown development, business management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in leading downtown development initiatives, including business growth, job creation, and community engagement.
  • Strong strategic thinker with excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, community organizations, and government officials.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial planning, and fundraising strategies.
  • Strong understanding of downtown development principles, including urban planning, economic development, and community engagement.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Total compensation for the year: $225,000 - $250,000.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
