We are seeking an experienced Banquet Chef to join our team at The Grille at Bridgewater Crossing. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing all banquet staff, assisting the restaurant chef with food safety and kitchen duties, and planning and executing all banquet events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all banquet staff and ensure seamless execution of events
  • Assist the restaurant chef with food safety and kitchen duties, including managing staff, maintaining coolers, and filling out temperature logs
  • Create orders and update order guides to ensure efficient execution of events
  • Plan, prepare, and execute all banquet events, staying ahead of the schedule to ensure a smooth and successful experience
  • Report directly to the Director of Culinary and provide regular updates on event progress

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in banquet management and culinary operations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
