POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design and production of our innovative products. Collaborating closely with the General Manager, you will be instrumental in developing industry-leading solutions that align with our organizational goals.

To excel in this role, you should possess exceptional analytical and design capabilities, proficiency in design software, advanced troubleshooting expertise, and the ability to convert concepts into high-quality products that satisfy customer requirements.

Your primary focus will be on executing a Master Production Schedule (MPS) for a multi-process manufacturing environment. This involves working alongside our existing MRP/ERP systems and coordinating with various departments including IT, Planning, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Materials, Quality, and Shipping to integrate our processes, routers, and standard times into the MPS framework.

This is a long-term, critical initiative with a company poised for growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, review, and document manufacturing routers and specifications for product assembly and testing.
- Assess manufacturing processes and work instructions for complex components to ensure successful product transitions.
- Evaluate travelers, work instructions, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) related to customer contracts.
- Analyze work instructions, process maps, material specifications, customer drawings, and project workflows.


- Inspect production equipment, tools, fixtures, and assembly lines to guarantee safe operations and minimize downtime.

- Engage in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing efficiency in cable assembly production.
- Utilize MRP/ERP software for managing bills of materials and routing instructions to support manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with Master Production Scheduling (MPS) is essential.
- Conduct market and industry trend analysis.
- Address inquiries and resolve challenges raised by production and manufacturing teams.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other managers and team leads.
- Uphold the policies and safety practices of DCX-CHOL Enterprises.
- Participate in training, safety, and quality initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and demonstrating flexibility in a dynamic environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and design skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Minimum of an Associate's degree in Industrial Process Manufacturing or Electrical, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in electronic assembly is preferred.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC-620, IPC-610, J-STD-001D, and ISO9001 is beneficial.
- Familiarity with AS9000/ISO Systems or government contracts is a plus.
- Ability to visualize theoretical models and design concepts.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills to convey complex topics to diverse audiences.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) techniques.
Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position include mobility, the ability to navigate between facilities, and the capacity to lift up to 30 lbs.
