Job Summary

Cayuga Health System is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Check-in and Registration: Verify patient demographics, collect outstanding balances and co-pays, and assist with scheduling appointments.
  • Communication and Triage: Respond to phone calls, take messages, and triage patient concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Assist with scheduling lab tests, x-rays, procedures, and other medical services, and send orders as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with previous medical office experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Medent and Microsoft Office, with experience using electronic medical records (EMRs) a plus.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Cayuga Health System offers a competitive salary range of $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
