Role Responsibilities

The Research Funded Specialist will play a vital role in various research initiatives, evaluations, and policy development projects. This position focuses on supporting peer support workforce development initiatives and involves:

  • Providing administrative and research support for ongoing contracts and grants.
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative research to address educational challenges and disseminating findings through professional platforms.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and other communication materials related to research activities.
  • Submitting and managing Institutional Review Board applications.
  • Conducting comprehensive literature reviews and community assessments.
  • Facilitating group discussions to achieve project objectives.
  • Coordinating special projects as directed by senior leadership.
  • Assisting in identifying new research and funding opportunities.
  • Delivering data-informed technical assistance to enhance decision-making and program sustainability.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Preferred Knowledge Areas

  • Understanding of peer support systems in mental health.

Compensation

The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. This role is contingent upon funding availability.
