About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our Private Equity and Real Assets Fund Services team at State Street Corporation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund accounting and a passion for delivering exceptional financial reporting and day-to-day accounting support to our premier private equity and real assets fund clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, analyze, and report investment and fund performance data for global real estate funds and affiliated entities.
  • Manage multiple functions, including maintaining general ledgers, preparing financial statements, and reviewing capital calls and distributions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, auditors, tax professionals, lawyers, and banking personnel.
  • Participate in special projects and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
Requirements
  • A college degree in accounting or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of general ledger accounting or audit experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and vlookup.
  • Fund accounting or public accounting experience is preferred.
  • CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification is a plus.
