Position Overview

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team focused on advancements in instrumentation and control systems for nuclear energy facilities. These initiatives integrate electrical and mechanical engineering principles alongside control theory. Engage with a variety of electronic process sensors, digital control systems, user-friendly interfaces, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, steam turbines, and reactors to optimize the operational efficiency of nuclear power facilities. Develop specifications for the acquisition of instrumentation and control systems, along with performing engineering calculations related to plant enhancements and modifications. Benefit from mentorship, structured technical training sessions, and hands-on experience to deepen your knowledge and proficiency in your engineering field. Experience opportunities for travel to client and vendor locations for design assessments and to plant sites for project management and field validation of designs.

Required Qualifications

Please note that we do not provide work authorization sponsorship for this position.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, with a solid academic foundation and coursework in both analog and digital control systems is essential. A minimum of three years of experience in design engineering related to power plant control systems is required. Coursework in mechatronics is preferred but not mandatory. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
