You will be instrumental in the planning, budgeting, organization, and management of a comprehensive engineering program, which may encompass projects valued up to $200 million. Your role will encompass accountability for key deliverables, including staff management, scheduling, budgeting, and work estimations.

Work Environment

This position is based in the KBR office, offering a flexible work arrangement that includes both remote and in-office workdays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and provide technical content for structural drawings related to construction, focusing on structural steel and concrete.
  • Conduct structural calculations for both steel and concrete frameworks.
  • Design conceptual and final foundation solutions, including spread footings, piles, and drilled shafts.
  • Draft and prepare construction specifications.
  • Offer technical assistance during the construction phase for all structural-related activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Structural Engineering.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineer License (PE) or the ability to secure one within six months of employment commencement.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in the field of structural engineering.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven capability to lead a small to medium-sized team to meet project commitments.
  • Experience in virtual team collaboration to support interoffice project execution with general oversight.
