Job Description: Property Maintenance ManagerAs a Property Maintenance Manager at Bellwether Housing, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our properties, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our buildings and providing a comfortable living environment for our residents.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing maintenance teams, supervising staff, and resolving complex technical issues.
- Estimated Salary: $43,451 - $65,917 per year
- Location: Seattle, WA
- Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring prompt response to resident requests and addressing any technical issues that may arise.
- Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations as needed.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect properties, identify potential issues, and implement preventive maintenance measures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and replacements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination on maintenance-related matters.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively.
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to OSHA guidelines and company policies.
- 5+ years of experience in property maintenance or a related field, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building trades.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team, develop training programs, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
