Patient Services Liaison

We are seeking a Patient Services Liaison to join our team at Children's National Hospital. As a key member of our front office staff, this individual will play a critical role in facilitating effective communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, the Patient Services Liaison will manage patient interactions from initial contact through resolution, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, as this individual will juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, including scheduling appointments, processing referrals, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Key responsibilities include ensuring timely and accurate completion of patient registration, verification of insurance coverage, and coordination of specialty referrals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to navigate complex medical terminology and concepts. A high level of emotional intelligence and empathy is required, as this individual will interact with patients and families during sensitive and potentially stressful situations. We offer a competitive salary of around $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
